Although Ben Franklin did not discover this knowledge he was the first to record it in the Poor Richard’s Almanac over 250 years ago.
Eating one small apple has the antioxidant effect of taking 1500mg of Vitamin C. And the bioflavonoids contained in an apple can help prevent cancer. Additionally, the apple contains a whole slew of vitamins and minerals. However all the nutrients are in the skin of an apple so be sure to eat the skin.
My top favorite kinds of apples:
1. Honey Crisp
3. Pink Lady
All of these varieties are sweet, sometimes slightly tart, and juicy. Delicious! :)
Have you had your apple today? :D
Before I went to college a couple of my friends and I were intrigued and slightly obsessed with the Myers-Briggs Personality test. I encourage all of you to take it, as it allows you to learn a lot about yourself… not that you don’t know yourself pretty well already, however, it can help identify some strengths and weaknesses that you may be overlooking.
Anyway, before I left for college I was an ENFJ. Extrovert. Intuitive. Feeling. Judging.
The ENFJ embodies the Giver, its common portrait.
I am a people person.
Today I am happy to say I am still a Giver, although I feel I have changed I am glad my core traits that I value have not. Helping others remains my main goal in life; Finding a fulfilling way to pursue that goal while not sacrificing too much of myself constitutes the hard part.
